Microsoft announces Dataflex- a low-code data platform for Teams

What is Power Platform?

Microsoft’s Power platform consists of following products:

  • Power BI
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Power Virtual Agents

Now imagine with that sort of usage of MS Teams across the globe how powerful will it be to have Power Platform features available within Microsoft Teams.

With that as objective, On July 21st Microsoft released a new low code data platform for Teams called Dataflex. This will enhance the user’s ability to achieve a lot with a combination of Microsoft Teams and Power Platform. This will allow consumer to build and deploy apps, chat-bots and have relational data storage all within interface of Microsoft Teams.

The key highlights of Dataflex are:

  • Build, deploy, share custom apps within Teams.
  • Drag and drop to create bots within Teams.
  • Share with team without having the limitation of the number of applications.

Microsoft also announced that Common data Service is now re-branded as Dataflex Pro.
